    Why Mango Body Butter?

This recipe uses mango seed butter (also known as mangifera indica seed oil) which is full of essential fatty acids, vitamin C, and other skin-loving nutrients. It’s especially helpful for dry skin, fine lines, and stretch marks—which, let’s be real, a lot of us are managing, especially during those winter months.

Mango butter is lightweight yet deeply moisturizing, making it perfect for all skin types, including sensitive skin. And when you whip it up with coconut oil, sweet almond oil (prunus amygdalus dulcis), and a splash of vitamin E oil, you get a whipped mango body butter that not only smells amazing but feels so luxurious.

    FAQ – Mango Body Butter

How long does homemade mango body butter last?

Stored in a cool dry place, it can last up to 6 months. Adding vitamin E oil also helps extend the shelf life naturally.

Can I use cocoa butter instead?

Yes! You can substitute cocoa butter (theobroma cacao seed butter) or shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii butter) for a slightly firmer or richer butter. All three are natural butter options with amazing benefits.

Is this safe for sensitive skin?

Absolutely. This recipe is gentle and free from sodium hydroxide, xanthan gum, and sodium stearoyl glutamate, which are common in store-bought beauty products. It’s packed with ingredients of natural origin and suitable for most skin types.

    Why use arrowroot powder?

It helps reduce greasiness and gives your butter a creamy body butter feel without clogging pores—perfect for those who don’t love an oily finish.
